It is our great pleasure to announce the finalists of the 2008 Employer All Star Awards, co-sponsored by the Richmond Human Resources Management Association and the Greater Richmond Chamber. Awards were presented at a breakfast on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Richmond Convention Center. The awards support the 3 E’s (employment, education and economic development) in building a quality workforce in Greater Richmond and continue to honor achievements of both public and private sector organizations in workforce development. Awards were presented to area employers who demonstrate exceptional success in the following areas: Employer of Choice, Alfred P. Sloan Award for Workplace Flexibility, Workforce Development, Best Recruitment, Engagement, and Retention Practices, HR Process Excellence or Re-Engineering, and Diversity Excellence.
